Quality Manager - Hyderabad

The NIT Quality Manager will provide the comprehensive support required to define and maintain the organization-wide QMS (Quality Management System) and keep it up-to-date, monitor compliance and follow-up with corrective actions. It is important to continue to define the metrics to be measured in compliance with the company's quality certifications and to implement a process to collect this data and build and maintain the metrics database. A quality event calendar will need to be maintained to ensure maintenance of current certifications and achievement of future certifications to meet the strategic plans of the organization. QMS procedures will need to be implemented and monitored in all functional units of the company so that NIT can continue to deliver excellence through quality.

Key Responsibilities
   
Perform internal audits
Ownership of QMS
Organization development to include the QMS
Quality calendar of events
International standards - QMS
Initiate company wide implementation
Quality measurements and statistics tracking
QMS/ISO/CMMi training
Training QAEs
Leadership and strategic planning
Instilling company wide discipline to achieve quality standards
Status reporting

Experience & Qualifications

Education
   
Graduate in Engineering/ Post Graduate in Management preferable, or equivalent

Experience
   
4 years in SW with 2 years in Quality Assurance
Knowledge of quality principles
Experience with ISO and CMM practices
Awareness of industry-wide practices
Ability to adapt standards to business practices
Qualified as a lead assessor
Training skills
Organization and planning skills
Program and project management skills
Ability to use business productivity software (MS Word, Excel, Access etc)
Quality assurance and quality control process knowledge
Excellent oral and written English communication skills
