An NIT senior software engineer reports to a project lead. The scope of work includes the design, development and delivery of application modules to meet the company's rigorous quality standards. Exceptional technical skills and the ability to work in a team environment are important attributes.

	Detailed design
	Efficient coding practices
	Module testing
	Change incorporation
	Configuration management
	Status reporting

	Graduate in Engineering/Master of Computer Applications preferable or equivalent.

	Minimum of 3 years developing client/server and web-based applications using object oriented design techniques, XML/XSLT, SOAP, OOAD, Web Services, Oracle and/or SQL Server, etc.
	Minimum of 3 years experience with Microsoft technologies such as .NET, C#, ASP.NET, and ADO.NET, and/or
	Minimum of 3 years experience with Java, JSP's, and related technologies in a J2EE environment
	Strong experience with MS-Office productivity applications, especially MS Word and Excel
	Strong English communication skills - oral and written
	Knowledge of testing methods and quality in the development process
