AAI and Navayuga Infotech strengthen ties

An airport is a large entity in itself with multiple departments and systems. For seamless operation on a minute-to-minute basis, all systems need to run smoothly. In 2001, the Airport Authority of India entrusted Navayuga with the responsibility to implement Airports Information Management System (AIMS) at Hyderabad Airport. Today AIMS is being used successfully at 147 airports across the length and breadth of the country.

AIMS, an enterprise solution, covers all the operations in an airport including Airport Terminal Management, Billing, Security, Complaint Handling, Finance and HR. The solution also generates reports with in-depth data for clear understanding and analysis. In the past years, AIMS has proven to improve airport productivity and efficiency significantly. The user-friendly interface and the ease with which AIMS can be used, continues to minimize administrative efforts as well.

Now, in a bid to keep up with the changing business dynamics and evolution in the world of technology, AAI has entrusted Navayuga with the responsibility of upgrading its AIMS application. The upgraded application, which will be implemented after a thorough pre-upgrade assessment, will have additional features and support for all departments. The project scope includes total upgrade of existing architecture with latest framework along with a brand new responsive user interface.

The upgrade will be rolled out to all the 147 airports. Over 18,000 users will be trained on the upgraded solution.
