Cochin Port, an all-weather natural port, is the major port in India strategically located near the international sea routes, being only 11 nautical miles from the Gulf to Singapore route and 76 nautical miles from the Suez Canal – Far East route. The port is governed by the Cochin Port Trust (CPT), a government of India establishment. It was established in 1928 and has completed 90 years of active service.

The Integrated Port Operating System (POS) will help CPT provide better services to its stakeholders and improve the efficiency of complete port operations. The system will also handle Marine, Cargo, CFS, Billing operations enabled with PCR, EDI and SAP integrations.

Navayuga provisioned and customized PortKonnect, its flagship product for the Maritime domain, to meet CPT’s requirement requirements for an Integrated Port Operating System (POS). PortKonnect, an end to end Port Management System, is already being used across major ports in the world including Durban, Cape Town, Krishnapatnam, Dubai ports under the administration of Dubai Customs etc. Navayuga used Quixy, a leading no-code application development platform, to build the Container Freight Station application and integrate it with other systems at the port including the SAP system.
